At Southeast Aerospace we take pride in our craftsmanship. Our technical staff designs new tools to make the job progress faster and the end product efficient. In the photo above, a mock-up of the aircraft routing is displayed. The mock- up ensures all components will have proper service loops. Kit integration is made easy and affordable for the customer.

SEA designs packages for any modification desired. SEA’s PAH and PMA certification allows us to design and manufacture complete kits for the customer. SEA kits are especially helpful for international markets; our kits provide a smoother final approval with international certifying agencies. The kits are also helpful for United States based customers when getting final approval from the FAA. SEA’s certification adds a level of quality and conformity to the end product.

avionics kits labels

All of SEA’s products, whether PMA or standard installation kits, are precisely packaged and labeled. The labels provide quantity, nomenclature, and sub kit references for ease of installation. Piece parts are packaged in individual bags,
which helps the end user verify completeness of the kit.

The kit components are packaged
into sub kits.

These sub kits include not only the piece parts,
but also the harnesses for the individual
drawing number.

SEA kits inspection

Prior to packaging the sub kit, the piece parts are inspected by SEA’s quality assurance
department for completeness and proper labeling
. SEA kits are produced to be 100% accurate and designed
with installation ease in mind. Any qualified technician can install the system with a flawless end result.

Wherever practical, connectors are terminated on
at least one end with the connector fully assembled
with chaff guarding and strain relief
.

The wiring is thoroughly inspected for security.

A pin- to-pin continuity checkout is completed, verifying that everything is connected per the engineering data; the engineering schematic is included with the installation kit. After completing the full check of the system, the individual harnesses are packaged.

In some cases, the harness will be terminated at both ends and covered with various types of outer sheathing depending
on the harness location in the aircraft. The harness is packaged with reference tags located in various positions along
the harness. The reference tags support ease of future troubleshooting should the aircraft have a problem in the life
of the system.

All major assemblies and parts are preserved, packaged, packed, and marked to a level ensuring no damage to items
will occur in transit from the fabrication facility to the aircraft integration facility.

sctructural pieces

In addition to connectors or contacts, “piece parts” are also customized cables such as coil cords and remote control
cables. SEA manufactures structural pieces such as antenna doublers, switch plates, or even complete instrument
panels.

SEA designs and builds control panels for some systems that are not considered “off the shelf items.” Complete
customized products and services are available.

Southeast Aerospace deals with civilian customers around the world. SEA also has many defense contracts
with international and domestic military, special mission, and law enforcement organizations.

Prior to shipping, all of our parts are checked again for comprehensiveness and organized to verify all needed hardware and harnesses are included.

We take great pride in the workmanship and dedication to our profession. SEA is improving the industry standard
of avionics installation kits. When you see the level of expertise our technical team has put into your kit design,
you will understand why SEA is your premier avionics integration team.
